Chippewa Valley Chapter Meeting

For July we are going to hold our meeting at a home that is set up with enough solar power that the owner can sell unused power back to the grid!

Zeus Stark from Next Step Energy and the homeowner, Mark Wise, will explain the PV system, how it's connected to the grid, explain maintenance and safety issues and answer questions.

There will be time spent outside and inside the home.  If you are interested in attending, please bring/wear a mask if that is a concern for you.

Home inspectors in WI are not required to inspect solar power and it isn't something we encounter very often, but this is a great opportunity to learn about the system if ever asked. Plus the education may likely help everyone to better understand some other facet of electrical systems.  The fee to attend and obtain 2 continuing education credits is $10.00.

The presentation will take place on

July 1st at 6:00 PM.

The location is 810 Chauncey St Eau Claire 54701 - click on the link for Google Maps

There will be NO dinner service so plan accordingly!
