WAHI Spring 2026
Residential Building Systems Training Course
A Course Designed Specifically for Realtors
Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 23
Taking a class on home systems empowers Realtors to speak with confidence and credibility during every stage of a transaction.
By understanding how major systems like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing work - and how to recognize common issues - Realtors can better explain inspection findings, answer client questions clearly, and set realistic expectations.
This knowledge not only reduces uncertainty and stress but also builds trust with buyers and sellers, positioning the Realtor as a knowledgeable advisor rather than just a facilitator. This program will raise your self-assurance when discussing necessary repairs with a contractor as well.
Over the course of the 2days, the instructors will address all the primary systems in a home to help you recognize red flags and “big ticket” repairs to the benefit of your clients and save you
valuable time by not rewriting offers!
Wednesday, April 22nd

The classroom portion delivers a clear, practical understanding of major home systems, how to interpret inspection findings, report requirements, and Wisconsin Home Inspection Standards of Practice.
